17 new cases have been confirmed this Saturday in Albania, one less than the day before.
The number of infected people has gone to 933.
306 were tested and only 17 citizens tested positive. Among those tested were 48 health personnel who tested negative for COVID-19. While 9 citizens have been recovered in the last 24 hours.
According to the data, over 12 thousand tests have been done and 933 citizens tested positive of COVID-19. Of these, 77% are already recovered.
Currently there are 188 active cases with COVID-19. The situation in hospitals has been stable for days. 19 patients are hospitalized in two COVID hospitals and only 4 of them are in intensive care.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to be responsible, respecting physical distance, maintaining personal hygiene, avoiding visits to relatives for any reason, while businesses must follow strict protocols.
