Two days before the Assembly convened by Sali Berisha, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar, Washington’s envoy to the Balkans is on an official visit to Albania.
The senior American official started the meetings in Tirana with Lulzim Basha at 11:45. Escobar arrived at the blue headquarters accompanied by Ambassador Yuri Kim. The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi and the Deputy Speaker Jorida Tabaku received him at the entrance of the headquarters.
At the table with the Democratic leader will be the whole Dome of the DP from the secretary, vice-chairmen and the head of the Democratic parliamentary group then there will be a face-to-face meeting with Escobar.
After the meeting, Lulzim Basha will have a statement for the media, while Gabriel Escobar will continue the other meetings, including with the Prime Minister Edi Rama./ abcnews.al
