The police have investigated two cases of non-declaration of money at Rinas airport and have made it possible to seize 28,840 euros and 1,900 dollars. The police announce that, as a result, a 36-year-old Turkish man was criminally prosecuted after he did not declare 17,020 euros while entering the Republic of Albania.
A 50-year-old Chinese man is also being prosecuted for not declaring 11,820 euros and 1,900 dollars when leaving Albania.
The two foreign citizens were prosecuted for the criminal offense of “Failure to declare money and valuables at the border”. The sums of money were seized as material evidence.
