A case of prostitution in Elbasan is struck. According to the police, a 36-year-old resident of Elbasan was arrested. The 36-year-old had adapted her apartment for the practice of prostitution and for the use of the narcotic substance cocaine.
“As a result of a several-month investigation, with proactive methods, carried out under the direction of the Elbasan Prosecutor’s Office, to attack a case of the criminal activity of practicing prostitution, the Elbasan Police Station finalized the police operation coded “Illegal”.
As part of this operation, a 36-year-old citizen, resident in Elbasan, was arrested for the criminal offenses “Prostitution” and “Adaptation of the apartment for drug use”. From the investigations, it turned out that this citizen had adapted her apartment, in the “Beqir Dardha” neighborhood, for the practice of prostitution and for the use of the narcotic substance cocaine”, says the police announcement. So the procedural materials passed to the Prosecutor’s Office, i.e. the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
