A 36-year-old man from Sri Lanka has been arrested his Monday by the Police of Shkodra after trying to illegally cross a citizen to Montenegro. According to the police, citizen with the initials J.J., 36 years old, resident in Paris, France, was arrested for the criminal offense of “Assisting in illegal border crossing”.
In the meantime, the materials were submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office, where the proceedings began against woman with initials J. L., 34 years old, resident in Shkodra.
“Structures of DVKM Shkodër, in cooperation with the Illegal Traffic Investigation specialists of DVP Shkodër, arrested the citizen J. J., 36 years old, resident in Paris, France, for the criminal offense of “Aiding illegal border crossing”.
In addition, they referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the citizen J. L., 34 years old, resident in Shkodër.
The 36-year-old man tried to illegally pass the citizen J.L., from Sri Lanka, in the PKK Hani i Hoti with his vehicle”, stated the police announcement.
