A 31-year-old man was arrested by the Vlora police after being accused of helping illegal immigrants. According to the police, it was learned that within the coded operation “Drashovica”, they arrested the young man.
Eight immigrants with Afghan citizenship were in a vehicle, who will be sent to EU countries against payment.
Meanwhile, as material evidence, the “Ford Focus” vehicle, 150 dollars and 50 euros, suspected to have benefited from this criminal activity, as well as 1 mobile phone, were seized.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora, for further actions./abcnews.al
