Consequences of the pandemic, EU disburses 90 million euros in aid to Albania

The European Commission, on behalf of the EU, has disbursed today 90 million euros of macro-financial assistance (MFA) for Albania.

This disbursement is the second and final installment of a € 180 million support program for Albania, which is part of the € 3 billion MFA package for ten enlargement and neighborhood partners that aims to help limit the economic consequences of COVID-19 pandemic.

“Important news for Albania. “The EU disbursed today 90 million Euros of macro-financial assistance, the second and last installment of 180 million Euros from the support program for Albania, in order to help limit the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic”, wrote on Twitter the European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi. /abcnews.al
