The meeting between the General Director of Police Gledis Nano and the American ambassador Yuri Kim has ended. In a statement to the media after the meeting, the US diplomat said that she wished Nano success in his new position while announcing that she assured that the US will continue to provide support to the State Police in equipment and training.
Nano stated that he informed the ambassador that the state police will be at high levels of performance to fight organized crime and corruption. “He also said that he asked Kim for the continued support of the United States because, as he said, this is a job that is never done alone.”
