Ten people have been arrested by the police in Tirana for various criminal offenses, theft, cocaine, but also driving while intoxicated. Among those arrested is a 27-year-old man who is suspected of using violence against his minor daughter, who is in hospital for medical assistance.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Kavaja Police Commissariat in cooperation with DVP Lezha, arrested and detained the citizen E. J, 57 years old, after on 26.10.2021 and 27.10.2021 he stole the wallets of citizens Sh. L and E. M. Also, the investigative actions have shown that this citizen is the perpetrator of 4 burglaries in Kavaja.
The Special Force “Eagle” in cooperation with the Narcotics Section made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen E. K, 31 years old, after during the physical control was found and seized a quantity of cocaine.
The specialists of the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen L. L, 53 years old, after he was caught by the Traffic Services driving the vehicle with the suspected forged driving license.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Police Commissariat No. 1 detained the citizen D. R, 24 years old, for the criminal offense “Theft”, after on 27.10.2021, he stole the motor vehicle of the citizen Xh.K.
The specialists for the Investigation of the Crime in the Police Commissariat No. 3 made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the minor citizen with initials O. M, 16 years old, after he stole the phone of the citizen Xh. Sh.
The actions have shown that this citizen is the perpetrator of 6 other thefts (shoplifting, wallet, a lot of money in a business, a gold pendant and two mobile phones). Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Police Commissariat No. 6 made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen N. H, 69 years old, after he exercised physical and psychological violence against his wife.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Police Commissariat No. 5 made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen R. K, 27 years old, after he is suspected of having used violence against his minor daughter, who is in the hospital, for medical assistance.
Traffic specialists arrested the citizens in flagrante delicto:
- F, 50 years old, A. K, 47 years old and N. Th, 20 years old, after being caught driving the respective vehicles in a drunken state.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Police Commissariat No. 4 referred the materials to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Tirana, for the citizen E. L, 38 years old, who suffers from mental health problems because in the hospital there are threatened with a noisy pistol the hospital nurse. Following the actions, during the search of the apartment, 2 pistols were found and seized as material evidence, a quantity of bullets similar to the noisy ones as well as some clothes like those of the Police.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for further action.
