The director of the Kruja hospital, Yllka Sheta said this morning that there were 150 children and 350 adults who have been hospitalized during the last days due to water poisoning in the city. She said persons present at the emergency room had symptoms such as colic; diarrhea; vomiting and in rare cases even fever.
Sheta says that three people were hospitalized today. According to her, all the patients received the service and left the hospital.
Kruja has been facing massive poisoning in recent days and according to preliminary analyzes it is suspected that the cause was the contamination of drinking water with sewage of a livestock stall located very close to the water tank, which supplies the city. /abcnews.al
