Energy crisis, Balluku: Have been approved 10 billion ALL grant

schedule14:38 - 27 Tetor, 2021

schedule 14:38 - 27 Tetor, 2021

The government has made available a grant of 10 billion ALL thanks to the energy crisis to protect the band of household subscribers and small business. The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Belinda Balluku stated that there is a lack of energy quantities in the market, emphasizing that the aim is to provide these quantities.

“Two groups of energy and infrastructure. One of the most sensitive areas affected by the global crisis is that of energy. We have to work every day. Today, the decision was made for the sovereign guarantee to make available to the energy sector 10 billion ALL which will create conditions to protect the band of family subscribers and small business. We must keep in mind that high prices globally today are a major problem. We are concerned about the lack of energy in the market. “What we are doing through legal acts is to create an opportunity to provide these quantities”, said the minister.

She said that two draft decisions that have passed today are expropriations for two lines that are considered critical investments, although investments are prohibited for OSHEE and OST.

“Two important draft decisions that pass today are the expropriations for two important lines that we consider critical investments 110 kilovolts and 220 kilovolts. Only critical investments related to production will continue to work. Our goal is to create a shield for families and small businesses.

I would like to mention two changes we made today in DCM 822. Both changes were made to facilitate domestic investment in renewable energy. Diversifying energy sources today is more important than ever. Encouragement and acceleration of these processes is required. The expropriation fund is a budget item. The draft law is approved. Today, since the projects are based on genuine projects, this makes the forecast accurate and we do not encounter delays on construction sites as has happened before. “All projects that will start during the next year have determined the amount of expropriation for the launch of these projects”, said Balluku. /abcnews.al
