US Ambassador to Tirana Yuri Kim has reacted after statements in the media that Democratic MP Oerd Bylykbashi has mediated to save Sali Berisha from the “non grata” announcement made by the US State Department in May this year, after the parliamentary elections.
Kim said in a Twitter reaction that the US decision on people deciding to be declared “non grata” is not subject of negotiation” and no one should pretend to be a “mediator”.
Those who have been identified may blame conspiracies, but the facts are undeniable. “President Biden has made clear tha will hold accountable those involved in corruption .”
