Influx of passengers, 5 ferries are expected to arrive at the Port of Durres

Summer vacations have increased the number of travelers to our country. Sources for abcnews.al suggest that the influx of passengers to our country continues, for which the ferries in the Port of Durres are applying round-trip cruises, from Wednesday to Sunday every week.

This Saturday, 5 ferries are expected to arrive at the Port of Durres from the line of Bari and Ancona, which is expected to bring about 7,500 passengers, while the lowest number is at the exit from our country to the Italian coast.

 

The Border Police is working at full capacity with 20 counters in function for the processing of passengers and their vehicles. According to data made public by the Durrës Port Authority, the first weekend of August brought to our country 17,100 passengers, including 8, 704 Albanian citizens + 8, 396 foreigners and 5343 vehicles.

While at the exit this figure was several times lower, namely 6, 266 passengers (2, 037 Albanian citizens + 4, 229 foreign citizens) and 2036 vehicles./abcnews.al
