The trials of former judges Fatos Lulo and Bashkim Dedja have been closed. Both former judges were under investigation on charges of concealing assets and non-disclosure.
The official announcement of SPAK states that Lulo and Dedja have been charged with “refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants, or any other person who has a legal obligation to declaration ”, made in the form of a false declaration.

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, on 30.07.2021 forwarded to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, the request for sending to court the criminal case no. 137/1 of 2020 in charge of the defendants:
-Fatos Lulo, acting former member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania accused of committing the criminal offense “Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of private assets of elected persons and public servants or any other person who has a legal obligation to declare ”, performed in the form of a false declaration provided by Article 257 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code.
-Bashkim Dedja, acting former President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, accused of committing the criminal offense “Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or any other person who has the legal obligation to declare ”, committed in the form of false declaration and concealment, provided by Article 257 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code./abcnews.al
