For all first and tenth grade students who could not register for the new school year, the online process on the e-Albania portal will be reopened from 15 to 30 August. The Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, has announced that in cases when the schools have sufficient capacities, they can enroll students outside the residential area, after the approval by the respective ZVA on the basis of legitimate reasons.
According to her, the school must respond within 24 hours after the request for registration and in case of refusal, those interested must continue the application within the deadline in the school where the registration is due.

One of the most positive innovations for the new school year 2021-2022 is the online registration of first and tenth grade students through the e-Albania portal, where parents fill out the form in just 1 minute, without having to collect documentation from institutions different, as the schools themselves already do this.
Based on the concerns conveyed by our educational institutions, parents and students, regarding the impossibility in some cases of registration for technical reasons, or exceeding the deadlines, we are working closely with our structures and the NAIS to successfully complete the procedures.
Specifically, in the period 15-30 August, the e-Albania portal for student enrollment will be reopened, giving parents the opportunity to apply, as well as to submit the reason for enrollment in the school outside the center of residence.
In cases where schools have sufficient capacity, they can enroll students outside the residential area, after approval by the relevant CAOs on the basis of legitimate reasons. The school must respond within 24 hours of requesting registration. In case of refusal, the interested parties must continue the application within the deadline in the school where they are enrolled.
