Two tourists in Valbona have been missing since Thursday. The two missing, are reported to be a Russian and a Swedish, and have lost contact since their phone batteries dropped and couldn’t communicate with the police.
It has been learned that they had set off in the direction of Theth, but in some areas the snow has not yet melted and the trail occasionally becomes impassable.
The search started on Thursday morning and is still ongoing. So far, there is no information from the environmental guards in Theth if the two tourists were seen, nor is there any information from Valbona.
It is thought that they got lost somewhere from Rrogami to Qafe Valbona. Meanwhile, the area where tourists are suspected to have been lost is expected to be air-controlled by a helicopter./abcnews.al
