The Constitutional Court has postponed the next hearing on the issue of the National Theater. This Thursday it was decided to accept additional evidence, while the summoning of witnesses was not evaluated, a request made by the Advisor to President of the Republic, Ilir Meta.
The constitution requested that documents submitted by the Presidency be brought within 8 days. On the other hand, the Constitutional Court did not consider the summoning of witnesses in this process.
Also in the hearing on the case of the National Theater, the Constitutional Court did not consider the summoning of witnesses in the process. In a communication for the media, the lawyer Adriana Kalaja, considered the decision a victory of the moment, while adding that the legal battle in the Constitutional Court has just begun.
“This is a victory of the moment, because today the legal battle in Constitutional Court has just started, and we are very sure because the way we handle this issue will force this Court to make decisions in favor of the theater”, said Kalaja. Meanwhile, the next hearing for the theater will be held on June 15./abcnews.al
