Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu has stated that the next date for the arrival of other doses promised by Pfizer is 15th February.
Manastriliu stated that the Albanian government has provided vaccines for 800 thousand Albanian citizens.
“Our strategy for vacination envisages and has some components related to the vaccination plan with the logistics and the quality of the vaccine so that we have accurate information about all vaccinated. Information is very important because as we know Pfizer and BioNTex is a vaccine that is made in two stages.
The vaccine passport is a formalized information about an information that a citizen must obtain. It is a very important element in terms of analysis. The vaccine is the most powerful weapon to control the pandemic as well known as we know and unknown it is important to know how many are affected.
The government has provided Pfizer and Covax vaccines to 800,000 citizens, including the main risk and priority groups, and we have started with the most exposed, which are doctors, nurses and epidemiologists. “We have started with the second dose of vaccination and we are continuing to increase them as you already know that by February 15th there will be another dose of Pfizer and we still do not have a number regarding these doses”, said Manastirliu./abcnews.al
