Archbishop of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, Anastasios Janullatos recovered from coronavirus and returned Monday in Albania.
He was being treated at a hospital in Athens and on November 23rd managed to beat the virus and leave the hospital, but staying in the Greek capital to this day.
On November 11 the Archbishop tested positive with the novel virus and as soon as was informed of the test results, he was sent urgently to a specialized clinic in Athens.
Nevertheless, the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis urged that Anastasios must be transferred to Athens immediately as the Greek doctors had expressed their concern due to the age of the archbishop, (91 years old), so he was transferred to Athens./abcnews.al
