Ballsh oil workers have returned to the hunger strike, demanding unpayment wages.
They told to ABC News journalist Valbona Davidhi, who has been following the situation closely, that they will not give up until the state provides a solution to this situation.
The hunger strike of Ballsh oil workers started on Monday after they felt neglected by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, despite going up to Tirana to meet with the Minister. They assure their cause will continue and they won’t give up until their demands are fulfilled.
On Tuesday, the oil workers after gathering in front of the Ballsh Refinery decided to escalate their actions, entering in this way in a hunger strike, which is the second they hunger strike of Ballsh oil workers after that of February 2020. There are 10 oil workers in the current hunger strike.
Ballsh oil workers are determined to go to the end of this matter, while none of the responsible authorities has reacted./abcnews.al
