Director of the Task Force “Operation Force of Law (OFL), Artan Shkembi, was dismissed from office on Monday.
The suspension has been made through a decision of the Court against Organized Crime and Corruption, on charges of corruption and disclosure of investigative secrecy. It was the internationals who brought information that Shkembi is involved in corruption and leaking investigation secrets.
The order for his suspension from office bears even the signature of the general Director of State Police, Ardi Veliu. The news is confirmed to ABC NEWS by reliable police sources.
