Minister of Education Besa Shahini has stated that the elections in the Universities will not be postponed beyond 30 July as this would create institutional chaos.
Speaking from the rostrum of the Assembly in the interpellation of the deputy Fatjona Dhimitri, Shahini said that now all students can participate in the elections as public transport is already operational.
“University elections have been postponed twice. Public transport is already open. All students and faculty can participate in the election.
Dhimitri said that this contradicts the order of the Ministry of Health to prevent gatherings due to the pandemic, while he said that in the ranks of professors and students there are infected with Covid-19./abcnews.al
