The situation continues to be aggravated by coronavirus. Currently in Albania there are 1213 active cases with Covid-19. According to the Institute of Public Health, the active cases are mainly in Tirana, Shkodra, Kruja, Durres.
Today, the ISHP announced 74 new cases, while 2 patients lost their lives at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
Since the beginning of June, after the removal of the restrictive measures, the number of cases of new infections has been high. Also, the number of victims has been higher than in the first three months of pandemic in the country. There are still hospitalizations in the infectious disease hospital where there are currently 81 patients in the hospital, including young people. 7 patients are in intensive care in serious condition and 2 of them are intubated in serious condition.
