Among the patients that are recieving treatment at the Infectious Disease is also a 2 month old baby. The news is confirmed by the Ministry of Health.
In a konference to the media, the chief of the Infectious Disease, Gjerogjina Kuli, has stated that this is the first infected baby in Albania.
Kuli stated: “Two days ago has been hospitalized a 2 month old baby, infected with Covid. The baby has been infected by the mother. Both are being treated at the pediatric infectious disease. Their conditons is stable.
Kuli also stated that 110 children has resulted positive since March. According to her, none of them has been hospitalized. 25% of the infected children are currently active cases./abcnews.al
