Two patients have died at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in recent hours, bringing to 51 the number of victims from coronavirus in Albania.
According to the health ministry, two deaths were unexpected. A 76-year-old man from Tirana, with some concomitant diseases, after having improved after 15 days of treatment, has suffered pulmonary thromboembolism. A 54-year-old man in serious condition, with renal insufficiency, died at the hospital emergency room.
In the last 24 hours, 77 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country. The good news is that in the last 24 hours 48 citizens have been recovered, bringing the total number to 1298 since the beginning of the epidemic.
