Since June 1, in Albania has been an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases.
In the last week and today, there has been a progressive increase in the number of cases , which did not happen even in the first days of the pandemic in Albania.
Health institutions since June 1, have managed to detect 535 positive cases with coronavirus.
Meanwhile, today the Ministry of Health reported about 571 active cases which means that the largest number of active cases in Albania.
As journalist Ajgena Korbi reports for abcnews.al, doctors are concerned about the number of people currently seeking specialized help at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
If we compare the numbers, there are 50 citizens who have gone to the hospital to recieve treatment.
According to experts, it is a stable number, but some of them are in a serious condition.
Health experts have stated that Tirana is the main focus, with the largest coronavirus cases in Albania.
They explained that this increase of new cases is due to the fequent contact among citizens.
What concerns doctors is that the virus is spreading to institutions, businesses and hospitals.
According to the information, another service has been added to the University Hospital Center with people infected by Covid.
The Ministry of Health reported today that 82 people infected with coronavirus in 24 hours./abcnews.al
