ISHP reports that during the last 24 hours, 69 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed bringing the total number to 1,590 since the beginning of the pandemic.
It has been learned that the number of active cases has gone to 499, most of which are in Tirana.
ISHP stressed out that new cases are mainly contact cases and patients that are infected during the businesses that have reopened after quarantine.
Over the last 24 hours the number of recovered has increased to 1,055.
It has been learned that currently 50 people are hospitalized in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 7 of whom are in intensive care.
60 percent of the hospitalized are from Tirana.
Meanwhile, one of the patients is intubated and in a serious condition.
