March 7 in Albania, is known as “Teachers’ Day.” This holiday is celebrated by all Albanians, students all over the country.
The first school was opened on March 7, 1887 under the conditions of Ottoman invasion, while it was the first elementary school with a strong national physiognomy, everything were taught in Albanian language.
