The country was hit today in the early hours of the morning by a powerful earthquake causing victims and many injuries.

Meanwhile, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias has announced that he will visit Albania to see the effects of the earthquake in the country.
“By order of the Prime Minister, Greece will immediately provide concrete assistance to Albania in facing the consequences of the earthquake that hit the country”, announces Dendias with a message on Twitter.
“I communicated with the Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Hrysohoidis, and for the same reason I will urgently go to Tirana, after my visit to Skopje ”, continues the Greek Foreign Minister./abcnews.al
