Special Court has left in prison former police director of Lezha, Henrigert Mitri. He did not agree to give explanations as he is accused of debunking the anti-cannabis operations that were taking place in the Lezha region.
There are suspicions that he managed the cultivation of cannabis in Lezha and organized gambling activities.
Former police director of Lezha was declared wanted by order of SPAK in May of this year. In addition to the cultivation of narcotics, he is also accused of “structured criminal group”, “participation in a structured criminal group”, “passive corruption of persons exercising public functions”, “organization or exercise of gambling activities in violation of the law” and “abuse of duty”. The violations of the former director were revealed by the analysis of the “Sky-ECC” applications.
