Kastriot Elezi, 45 years old, and Ronaldo Metushi, 22 years old, were injured by the assassination that happened the day before at “Don Bosco” in Tirana.
Journalist Ervin Leka told ABC News that their health condition has improved despite their injuries.
From the inspection of the footage, the two people were sitting on the outside veranda where they were drinking coffee.
And at this moment, fire was opened on them. There are doubts that the pistol was silenced. Seven shell casings were found at the scene.
“The whole event was filmed with security cameras, as the business had security cameras. But for the investigative team, it is difficult to identify them since they were masked and did not get off the vehicle.
And the vehicle was burned and there are doubts that the number plates are duplicated…”, reported journalist Ervin Leka.
Meanwhile, 15 witnesses were questioned about this event. In the preliminary testimony, Renaldo Metushi stated that he is unemployed and went out to drink coffee with Kastriot Elez.
Ronaldo Metushi’s testimony.
“I am unemployed and, as I usually do, I was drinking coffee below Kastriot’s apartment at the bar where the incident happened.
I know all of the people in the bar because I worked there some time ago as a waiter.
As far as the perpetrators are concerned, I couldn’t see it because the car was speeding and everything happened in a few seconds. I felt a pain in my leg and realized that I was wounded by a bullet. I have no conflicts that I know who might have done it.
Elezi also said that he is unemployed and almost every day they drank coffee in this bar. Meanwhile, in front of the investigative team, Metushi said that there were no conflicts, but the investigative team has doubts that the target was Kastriot Elezi. The police tracks have also been extended to the traffic of narcotics and work is being done to investigate the conflicts and the past of the two injured persons.
