The deadline for the activities of the Special Parliamentary Committee is postponed up to 3 months for applying the electoral reform.
The decision was approved by 105 votes in favor on today’s session of the Assembly.
In this way it seems that the majority and the parliamentary opposition will not be able to close on time the changes required by the OSCE / ODIHR that were expected to be ready by the end of November.
As previously reported by the co-chairs of the commission ,members of the electoral reform commission have agreed to postpone the mandate of this commission in order to carefully analyze the problems encountered in the previous draft. /abcnews.al
