Father and son were arrested this Friday in Vlora, as they are suspected of cultivating narcotics. As part of the “Clean Territory” operation, 135 cannabis sativa seedlings were seized.
As a result of an investigation with proactive methods and controls throughout the territory of the district, carried out within the framework of the national anti-cannabis mega-operation coded “Clean Territory”, the Narcotics Sector of DVP Vlora has hit a case of cultivation of narcotic plants.
135 seedlings and narcotic cannabis sativa plants were found planted.
Following the investigative actions, the 2 suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity, 58-year-old and 26-year-old citizens (father and son), residents of Vlora, were detained. The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora,” the police announcement states.
