A group of contract killers who operated in the area of ​​Kurbini and not only have been sentenced by the Court of Lezha to 118 years in prison for serious charges such as “Premeditated murder” committed in cooperation for interest but remaining in the attempt, “Theft in cooperation ” and “Attempted murder” against two police officers, this incident happened on January 14, 2022 in the village of Aramenas.

According to the investigative file, Ilir Feçi, Robert Laçi and Ibrahim Difaj, were implicated in the serious incident that occurred on August 17, 2021 in Fushë-Kuqe, where the truck driver, Alfred Gjoka, was injured.

The three people were paid 20,000 euros to kill Gjoka, but they could not, even though they fired more than 3 bullets at him. While in the prosecution’s claim, several cases of theft committed in Laç by these defendants were also listed. While the other defendant Shpëtim Kraja is accused of the attempted murder of two police officers, Lili Keri and Prel Rrushaj.

For Robert Laçin, the prosecution asked for his sentence of 3 years of imprisonment for the charge of “Providing the conditions to commit the murder” of Alfred Gjoka, but the court decided to sentence him to 28 years of imprisonment for the charge of “Premeditated murder” committed for remaining interest in the attempt to the detriment of Alfred Gjini.

Investigations related to the case were started two years ago by the prosecutor of Tirana, Elisabeta Imeraj, in cooperation with the prosecutor of Kurbin, Bardhyl Shehu. Sentences imposed by the Court of Lezha:

Ilirjan Feçi 30 years in prison

Ibrahim Difaj 25 years imprisonment

Robert Laçi 28 years of imprisonment
