He is known as a relative of the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, who was arrested as part of the Metamorfoza operation. Mir Bruli was arrested by order of SPAK by the RENEA Special Forces.
SPAK has issued several arrest warrants for characters from the world of crime in Tirana, Vlorë, Fushë-Krujë, Shijak, Durrës, including the former deputy of the Socialist Party Arben Ndoka.
