The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has welcomed the result of the Albanians in the elections held on Wednesday in North Macedonia, where the Albanian coalition “European Front” secured 19 mandates.

In a post on the X platform, Hasani describes the result as historic while adding that the future moves only towards the EU. “I welcome the historic result of the Albanians in the elections of May 8, 2024 in North Macedonia.
For all of us, the present has only one common denominator: coexistence between ethnicities, religions and cultures in harmony and mutual respect. The future moves only in one direction: towards the European Union and the family of democratic countries”, writes the minister on the X platform.
