Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the meeting with the political leaders of the districts, spoke to the media. The head of the government stopped at the investment in Sazan, where he said that it is the ambition of the previous governments and that it is a value for the country’s tourism.
Among other things, he said that Albania is attractive for foreign investors.
“We don’t choose people, based on the legislation we refer to the offers and we refer to the proposals that are made to us. The transformation of Sazan into a clear crown jewel of Mediterranean tourism is a long-standing ambition. For the sake of truth, previous governments have had it. It has not yet become a reality. Before, it was unimaginable that serious investors would approach Albania.
Today, Albania has become an address that is always in demand. The proposal is not yet in the necessary process, an application has been made, if the project matches our vision between development and the protection of nature, then we will proceed,” said Prime Minister Rama.
