The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, spoke to the media after the meeting with the political leaders of the districts. He emphasized that the Socialist Party is the only political force that has the capacity to move Albania forward.
“We are in a very important and deep process for the re-energization of the basic cells of the SP organization, which are the organization of the SP throughout the territory and for the continuation of the opening of the party for new memberships.
We set the target of 50,000 new members by the June Congress, and I believe that with what we have seen, it is an achievable target. It is necessary to strengthen the SP, because it is the only poetic force in Albania, which has the ability and governing alternative and which has the real responsibility for the progress of the membership process.
The strategic objective is for Albania 2030 to climb to that peak without the possibility of going back, and the crown of this peak is undoubtedly the readiness to be a member of the EU,” said Rama.
