Details from the assassination of Gentjan Bejtja. The perpetrators, who are suspected to have been 4 people, approached with the off-road ‘Land Rover’ type vehicle from the area of Fushë Kruja in the direction of Larushk.
At around 4:20 p.m., they entered the alley where Gentian Bejtja’s villa was located in the village of Larushk. They brought the car close to the main gate of the apartment, and then it is suspected that 3 of the perpetrators, who were masked and dressed in black, got out with 3 Kalashnikovs in their hands.
While one of the perpetrators is suspected of waiting for them in the car to leave. The large gate of Gentian Bejtja’s villa was open and the perpetrators were able to enter directly into the courtyard.
Gentjan Bejtja was only a few meters away from the yard as he was doing some work behind his villa. There, the perpetrators shot the machine gun, leaving him dead on the spot.
At the scene of the incident, the police found about 50 Kalashnikov cartridges, which according to preliminary data were fired by 3 Kalashnikovs. The perpetrators then got into a white Land Rover type car and went out on the main road that connects Fusha Kruja with Kamza.
They took the direction from the village of Hasan near the crossing of Fusha Kruja, just a few kilometers from the scene where they burned the car.
According to the investigators, it is suspected that they were met there by another vehicle that drove them away from the place where they set fire to the vehicle suspected of being used in the crime./abcnews.al
