The police have arrested a 23-year-old driver of the “Mercedes-Benz” type vehicle that collided with the vehicle driven by the French citizen, who died in the hospital.
The serious incident happened on Thursday evening on the Lezhe-Laç axis, and then the 23-year-old man from Fushe Kuqja left the scene. He is accused of the criminal offenses “Violation of traffic rules” and “Leaving the scene of an accident.”
The 65-year-old French man was taken to the Trauma Hospital, but he died due to serious injuries.
