Electoral College has overturned the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (CSS), recognizing the Democratic Party (DP) led by Lulzim Basha, not the “Together We Win” coalition, as main opposition force.
After this decision, Basha will receive more members of Commissions of Electoral Administration Zones (KZAZ) than Berisha for the partial local elections in Kukës, which will take place on September 24.
Furthermore, Basha will have even more funding.
On May 14, also on September 24, the CEC refused to register the DP in the name of Berisha, and Berisha, even though he knew the result, does not give in to exhaust every legal link.
Lulzim Basha does not have a candidate for the elections in Kukës, while Berisha’s candidate is Emri Vata.
