An anti-drug operation, for which the investigation started months ago, has been extended to several cities in the country, this Thursday including Elbasan. According to the Elbasan Police, among those arrested in Elbasan is also a police officer, Saimir Hysa.
He was aware of the criminal activity and is charged with abuse of duty. Moreover, the police investigated the connections of the persons arrested earlier for distribution and discovered the other members.
The people involved in this network distributed cannabis, cocaine and heroin.
Nine people were arrested, among whom a police officer Saimir Hysa and 5 others were declared wanted, while 1 kg doses of hashish, three guns, two knives, gloves, scales and money were seized.
