Prime Minister Edi Rama underwent a surgery at QSUT this morning. It is a surgical intervention for the removal of appendicitis. It is learned that the intervention was made by the doctor, Arben Gjata, and the prime minister’s condition according to his staff is good and stable.
“Last night, after several imaging tests at the “Mother Teresa” university hospital center, Prime Minister Rama was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. Based on the recommendation of emergency service doctors, the Prime Minister underwent surgery to remove appendicitis in the early hours of this morning.
The surgery was done by a team of surgeons and anesthetists, under the direction of prof. Arben Gjata, head of surgery service at QSUT.
