Eight people were arrested by the police in Durrës, as part of two operations against drug trafficking. The arrested persons are: Tani and Goni Muça, Alban Vela, Amonali Halili, Ergi Curri, Kristel Balla, Gentian Gonesha, Stevens Bulku.
“2 anti-drug police operations, coded “Foremost” and “Last deal”, developed by the Narcotics Investigation Section at the DVP Durrës and the Special Operational Force at the State Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Durrës Judicial District, are finalized.
Operations, the result of a 6-month investigation, with proactive methods. During the 2 operations, 8 citizens, members of 2 criminal groups, were arrested.
-During the coded operation “Foremost”, 4 citizens were arrested who acted as a criminal group, for the distribution of hard drugs, in the area of Sukthi.
-During the coded operation “Last deal”, 4 citizens were arrested who acted as a criminal group, for the distribution of hard drugs, in the city of Durrës.
A package of cocaine, dozens of doses of cocaine, electronic scales, sums of money profited from the sale of drugs and 2 vehicles (2 of them luxury) were seized.
-As part of the coded police operation “Last Deal”, the citizens were arrested:
-G. M. (alias G. L., G. M., G. F.), 48 years old, previously convicted;
-T. M., 43 years old, resident of Sukth, previously convicted;
-A. H., 24 years old and A. V., 17 years old, all four residents of Sukth.
-As part of the “Foremost” operation, the following citizens were arrested:
-E. C., 25 years old, G. K., 23 years old and K. B., 24 years old, all three living in Durrës, as well as S. B., 24 years old, living in Shijak.
From the investigations with proactive methods, it has been found that the citizen G. M. had the role of the supplier of cocaine narcotics, for these citizens, who, after buying it, in cooperation with each other, distributed it in the area of Sukthi and Durrës, as well as in night clubs, in the city of Durrës.
Also, these citizens, for the distribution of narcotics, had adapted special premises in their premises, specifically in the premises of citizen G. M., in the Sukthi area, and in the premises of citizen E. C., in a neighborhood in Durrës.
As a result of these operations, the following were seized as material evidence:
– 1 package of cocaine, weighing 130 grams;
– 40 doses of cocaine-type narcotics;
– 3 vehicles, 2 of them luxury;
– 96 thousand ALL and some amounts in euros, francs and pounds;
-3 electronic scales used for weighing and dividing the narcotic into small doses, 1 iron handle and 14 mobile devices,” the police informed.
