The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, in the Commission for European Integration proposed that the use of the TikTok social network be banned in public institutions, as it is an eminent danger.
In his speech, Balla in the Commission, when the draft law on audiovisual media was discussed, said that the majority will support it as the proposal came from the government.
The majority would vote for it in all committees and in the plenary session. “We ask the government representative to keep in mind a part of the discussions that took place here. All institutions address you immediately.
Speaking about the danger that comes from using TikTok, Balla emphasized that the application is part of those European policy makers that TikTok is a security risk in our Euro-Atlantic space.
