Saranda, wanted man arrested on drug charges

Police arrested this Saturday a 26-year-old man from Saranda, sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”.

It is about Edlor Omeri, who was declared wanted after the Saranda Judicial District Court sentenced him in absentia, following his arrest in 2020, when he was found with a quantity of narcotics.

“Following the work to capture the wanted persons and bring them before the legal responsibility, by the services of the Sarandë police station, based on information intelligence, about the location of a wanted citizen, it became possible to detain the citizen: Edlor Omeri, 26 years old, resident of Saranda. The 26-year-old was declared wanted after the Court of the Sarandë Judicial District, with the decision dated 19.07.2022, sentenced him to 3 years and 4 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”. Police services found and seized a quantity of cannabis narcotics from this citizen in 2020, announced the Police”, it was announced.
