Tirana’s mayor invites citizens to demostrate in support of Ukraine

Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj has invited citizens this Friday to take part in the demonstration in support of the resistance of Ukrainian people on the first anniversary of the beginning of the Russian aggression.

In a social networks statement, Veliaj declared that Tirana stands in solidarity with the right of every Ukrainian citizen to be free.

“February 24 marks one year since the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine! Tirana stands in solidarity with the right of every Ukrainian citizen to be free. I invite you to be together during the demonstration, in support of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against Russian aggression. WE ARE WITH YOU!
