MPs of the Democratic Party (PD) have demanded this Thursday the suspension of exemptions from plenary sessions, a decision taken by the Ethics Commission, after the last plenary session, where there were tensions and noise.
Through a letter addressed to Speaker Nikolla, they have requested a meeting of the Bureau of the Assembly with the aim of suspending the decision for the democratic deputies.

In the letter, the 6 excluded democrats consider the decision unconstitutional and a serious act against parliamentarism in Albania.
According to them, the decision was taken in violation of the Parliament’s regulations, in the absence of transparency, as well as in the absence of accusing MPs.
Meanwhile, the letter bears the signature of the expelled MPs, namely: Sorina Koti, Elda Hoti, Greta Bardeli, Lindita Metalia, Oerd Bylykbashi and Edmond Spaho.
