In a Skype connection with the ABC News studio, Fatos Klosi, the former Director of the State Information Service, commented on the lawsuits made by the Socialist Party regarding January 21.
Klosi expressed that he hopes that due to the justice reform, an objective investigation will be conducted and the truth will be learned. He added that claims that the killings were negligent are false and that they were done deliberately.
“The event happened when the protest was being dispersed, its peak was earlier. All the arguments that have been used are tricks to help the real culprits. We wish that these new testimonies are seriously investigated, only justice is required, why these people were shot.
The investigation and verdict so far is unfair and does not represent true guilt. Maybe even these new facts, let specialists do their job.”
