Nikolla hosts the delegation of Saudi Arabia: Excellent relations, gratitude and recognition of Kosovo

The Speaker of the Assembly, Mrs. Lindita Nikolla hosted the delegation of the friendship group with Albania of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia, headed by Dr. Fayez bin Abdullah Al Shahri, Chairman of the group.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Albania was also present at the meeting, Mr. Faisal Ghazi Ismail Hifzi. Nikolla thanked the friends from the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia and appreciated the friendship group’s contribution to strengthening parliamentary and bilateral cooperation.

Ms. Nikolla underlined that Albania and Saudi Arabia have excellent relations, which have been concretized in high-level visits, and expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s help in coping with the consequences of the 2019 earthquake and the pandemic, as well as appreciated the contribution of the Fund Saudi for Development in improving the infrastructure and road system in Albania and assistance in other sectors.

Nikola appreciated the recognition of Kosovo by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the support of its role in international relations.
